Sonoma County Human Race Returns Saturday, May 7, #StrongerTogether

Iconic 5k Fundraiser celebrating Sonoma County nonprofits and their causes returns to a new location in downtown Santa Rosa.

Sonoma County, CA, May 6, 2022 — On Saturday, May 7, 2022, the Sonoma County Human Race returns after a two-year hiatus. The Sonoma County Human Race is the largest community-driven 5k fundraising event in Sonoma County where local area nonprofits are supported by the funds individuals, businesses and teams raise – together. Anyone can sign up and join a team or create a team and start raising money for their favorite nonprofits. The theme of this year’s Human Race is #StrongerTogether.

Over 100 local nonprofits and community-minded businesses are participating in the Human Race event on Saturday, May 7, to raise funds and awareness of the needs in our local communities. From healthcare to child welfare, environment, education and arts, culture, civil rights and animal rights our local nonprofits fulfil services that support a healthier, happier and more equitable Sonoma County.

The event is expected to draw a crowd of 500-800+ at Old Courthouse Square in downtown Santa Rosa. KZST will be kicking off the event and getting people revved up to race and raise funds.  Individuals and teams of all ages and abilities are participating – running, walking, rolling, dog-walking, and most importantly raising funds for local nonprofits. All racers will be timed and must be registered in advance.  Registration will be available morning of the event from 7:00 – 7:30 AM. Race time begins at 8:00 AM sharp. https://raceroster.com/events/2022/50601/2022-sonoma-county-human-race.
