The Nonprofit Leadership Center’s Nonprofit Holiday Gift Guide highlights gifts for everyone on your list, with some or all of the proceeds benefiting nonprofits. Gifts in this 2023 guide were curated by the Nonprofit Leadership Center’s nonprofit community through a submission process in November.

As you celebrate the holidays this season, thank you for supporting nonprofits that strengthen our communities.

For the Coworker: Melting Desk Clock

For a coworker you care about or someone who loves the arts, consider Dalí’s Melting Desk Clock — a decorative desk clock inspired by Salvador Dalí’s iconic painting, The Persistence of Memory.

Ready to rest on any surface with no mounting hardware needed, this clock boasts a fun and surreal way to tell time and is sure to be a great conversation-starter in any home or office.

The best part? This clock benefits the Dalí Museum, the nonprofit entrusted with caring for and sharing an expertly curated collection of Salvador Dalí’s work, preserving his legacy for generations to come. Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, the Museum serves as an active resource in the cultural life of the community and world.

The clock measures 4 inches by 8 inches and requires one AA battery, which is not included. Be sure to also check out the melting clock holiday ornament as well.

Cost: $29.95

For the Pet Lover: Graphic Tees

The pet lovers in your life are sure to enjoy the cute and clever assortment of T-shirts that benefit Community Pet Project. You’ll find sayings for both dog and cat lovers alike, from “Dog Dad” to “Cat Mama” and everything in between. Proceeds from the sale of tees (and related car decals) help people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless access the food and supplies they need to keep and continue caring for their beloved pets.

T-shirts come in three colors: heather grey, dark sports grey and coral. Shirts are unisex and come in sizes small through 3X.

Cost: $22 per shirt

For the Little Ones: Bobby Bear Children’s Book

For the little ones on your list, consider “Bobby Bear Gets a Forever Family.” This illustrated children’s book is a fictional journey of a child in foster care waiting for his adoptive family. Giving Bobby Bear guidance and a voice in his adoption process, the adoption recruitment team at Heart Gallery of Pinellas and Pasco helps match him with his forever family.

This book helps children to see themselves and imagine their future adoption journey while empowering other children to understand the process.

The Heart Gallery of Pinellas and Pasco, a program of Gulf Coast JFCS, works in partnership with multiple agencies to make adoption possible for children in the foster care system.

Support through “Bobby Bear Gets a Forever Family” helps find adoptive families for the hardest-to-place children in foster care – teenagers, siblings, and children with special medical or emotional needs.

Cost: $25+

For the Caffeine Connoisseur: Craft Coffee

For the person in your life who needs to start their day fully caffeinated, stuff their stocking with some Drink Katy’s Craft Coffee.

More than a bag of beans, this coffee is extra empowering because 30% of the net proceeds benefit EmpowHERment, an organization for women to connect, inspire and support one another that offers events, workshops, safe haven community centers, and more.

Coffee flavors come in regular, sugar cookie, vanilla hazelnut, mint chocolate, cinnamon bun and …. decaf.

Cost: $15.95 per bag

For the Outdoor Enthusiast: Personalized Paver

For the friend or family member who loves to be outdoors, enjoys walking, running or biking, and is passionate about the Tampa Bay community, you can set their legacy in stone with a personalized paver along the Tampa Riverwalk.

The Tampa Riverwalk is a 2.6-mile path that runs along the Hillsborough River in Tampa. Locals and visitors alike can walk, jog, or bike down the Riverwalk, passing and visiting many of the city’s most popular attractions, restaurants and bars along the way.

Friends of the Riverwalk is a nonprofit organization that works in partnership with the city to develop, activate and promote Tampa’s downtown waterfront.

Purchasing and personalizing a granite paver not only honors a friend or loved one but also supports special events, family-oriented activities and beautification along the Riverwalk.

Each square paver is 12 inches by 12 inches and can be engraved with up to four lines of text, with 18 characters (including spaces) per line. You may also select a location for the paver.

Estimated cost: $175 each
