I'm hitting pause on the videos I've been doing the past couple of weeks. Instead, I'm freeing up my calendar so I can talk to as many of you as possible on Zoom about what's happening with your nonprofit and answering any questions you might have.

I just want to be helpful! We can talk about sponsorship, cause marketing, content marketing or share our tips on hiding from our fellow cellmates during these trying times.

Interested? Do this...

1. Visit Selfish Giving and hit the BOOK NOW button.

2. Chose a 30-minute phone meeting for later today, Thursday or Friday between 3pm and 5pm EDT.

3. I'll send you a link to Zoom!

I'm looking forward to talking with YOU!

🦠 Responding to COVID-19

1. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame & Museum will donate $5 to the American Hospital Association for every Dr. Fauci bobblehead sold to raise money for the 100 Million Mask Challenge.

2. Larry Weil, aka The Sponsorship Guy, shows you how to recoup sponsorship revenue from your cancelled event. From email messaging to post-event data, how to keep sponsors happy during your virtual transition.

3. File this under HELPFUL. Maureen Carlson of On Purpose spoke to corporate social impact professionals and nonprofit corporate partnership professionals on what they'll be doing in short- and long-term around fundraising and the support of causes.

🤑 Marketing Your Cause

1. Now is the time to be building an audience, right? Hannah Hethmon at Better Lemon Creative Audio has some great advice on setting up a DIY podcast for nonprofits closed by the pandemic.

2. Marketer Mark Schaeffer, who's battling Covid-19 😷🙏, argues that we need to go to the bottom of the pyramid. Ditch the pitch and focus on relevance.

3. Twitter is booming during the pandemic. Now is the time to jump on and start building that audience. Here are a whole month of tweet prompts to get you started!

I have to create reports for each of our corporate partners on the activation activities from 2019. We haven’t formally done them before so I don’t have anything to go off to create one and I’m really unsure of where to start. Would you happen to have any examples or samples? I’m not looking for anything elaborate. We typically put reports or plans together using PowerPoint although I welcome any example! I’m just really unsure of how to organize it and what all it should contain. Thanks, Joe!

🧠🍌 Brain Food

1. Now is a great time to learn something new. The gang at NextAfter Institute is offering a free course (a $299 value!) and 50% off membership. They have courses on analytics, Facebook, copywriting, etc. Just use the code "learnfromhometry" for the free course and "learnfromhomejoin" for the membership discount. I'm taking a 26-lesson course on email fundraising. It's great and FREE!

2. I so needed this today! The Good News Boost from the team at Rocket Social Impact 🚀Review Rocket's latest top five impact picks of the week or dig into their comprehensive list of what local heroes, companies, nonprofits and influencers are doing to fight the pandemic. [SPONSORED LINK]

3. Bats are getting a bad rap for starting the pandemic. With the help of Bat Conservation International🦇, I made this mask to wear at the supermarket. I was hoping to advocate for bats, but no one will come near me! Is it the mask or me? 🤷‍♂️😂
