✍️ Partnership Notes

1. The best way to capture prospect data is an email opt-in form on your web site. Put one on your home web page, partnership page and case study pages. Don't just believe me. According to other B2B marketers, THIS WORKS!

2. Nail strip maker Color Street is partnering with March of Dimes. The partnership includes a one million dollar donation and two limited-edition nail polish strips, Precious Gift and Hold Me Close, to help start the conversation and raise awareness/$$$ for the cause.

3. Wait. Red Lobster🦞has been around since 1968 and has over 500 restaurants nationwide, but they didn't have a national charity partner until the day before yesterday?

4. Talk about leaning into your target audience... When you make your pro-choice views on abortion part of your profile on the dating app OkCupid, your “Pro-Choice” sticker triggers a donation to Planned Parenthood. Prediction: Not to outdone, dating app Christian Cafe will roll-out a temperance sticker to support the Prohibition Party.🍻

🤑 Marketing Your Cause

1. This woman is making government social media fun. No reason your nonprofit can't do the same. Start with @NJGov mantra: Educate, Empower, Engage.

2. When a brand logo is displayed in the inbox, recipients are “10% more likely to actually open the email, because they see which brand it is from, and they are more likely to trust it.” Ok, that sounds good. But how do you get your logo to show up in an inbox? Here's how to do it in Gmail. Not easy, but it could be worth it.
