Newsletter: Call of Duty Asks Players to 'Loot for Good' ๐Ÿ˜‡ ; 9 Ways AI can improve Your Email Marketing ๐Ÿค– ; Meals On Wheels is a Climate-Relief Model โ˜”๏ธ

I'm busy this week teaching in the New Strategies Program in the business school at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

I'm teaching 30+ nonprofit leaders how to raise money with corporate partnerships. Woo-hoo! ๐Ÿ™Œ

For that reason, I'm keeping this week's newsletter short!

โœ๏ธ Partnership Notes

1. Did you miss the Q&A session I held last Thursday with the gang at Good Scout??? The topic was maximizing corporate partnerships. It was wicked awesome and we answered a ton of questions. Watch the recording here.

2. Looting is okay - when it's for a good cause (and virtual).

3. 4 effective ways to simplify your sales process from seasoned sales experts. #3: Ask your prospect, "How can we make this easy for you?"

๐Ÿค‘ Marketing Your Cause

1. 9 ways artificial intelligence (AI) can improve your email marketing.

Try using AI to upgrade your email subject lines.

Copy the subject line from this newsletter (or from any email in your inbox) and pop over to ChatGPT. In the Send a Message box at the bottom, type "Give me three better options for this email subject line:" and paste in the subject line and hit return! Voila!

Now, my subject lines are pretty dope ๐Ÿ˜, so don't expect a better one. But you will see some alternatives and how AI might improve yours!

2. Four ways to use email marketing to drive event attendance.

3. Brands are using older influencers to reach Boomers and Gen X. Mountain Dew threw a party in Florida for retirees. Why aren't nonprofits doing this?

๐Ÿ˜Ž Cool Jobs in Cause

1. Director of Strategic Partnerships, ACLU SoCal, Los Angeles ($110k -$125k)

2. Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark, NJ

3. Account Manager, Corporate & Foundation Partnerships, American Humane, Remote

4. Director, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships, American Humane, Remote

5. Manager, Corporate Partnerships, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles ($64k - $66k)

๐Ÿง ๐ŸŒ Brain Food

1. Why you should strive to be 'imperfect.' "You have to sort of work in a kind of permanent revolution."

2. Of course they are. Meals On Wheels is a climate-relief model.

3. You may never be a billionaire, but we can all be time billionaires.
