KUDZUKIAN MEDIA GROUP AND MOMENTUM NONPROFIT PARTNERS ANNOUNCE VISION FORWARD GRANT WINNERS
KUDZUKIAN Media Group (KMG), along with Momentum Nonprofit Partners, has selected the winners of the Vision Forward grant. The two organizations wanted to create an opportunity for nonprofits to propel their messaging forward. The grant will provide them with access to the technical expertise and production professionals to do so. Each organization decided between the option to create a 3-5 minute promotional video, create a mini-podcast season (3 audio shows) or to livestream an event, panel or workshop. “Technology is becoming even more important to nonprofit fundraising and awareness building, and I’m excited to see what new opportunities this grant brings to the three chosen organizations,” says Kevin Dean, CEO of Momentum Nonprofit Partners.
The winners of the Vision Forward grant are:
Cazateatro celebrates and shares Latin American culture through the scenic arts, stressing the importance of intercultural learning and bilingual education. The organization believes that presenting stories through a Latinx lens not only provides representation to the Latinx community but encourages understanding, compassion, and healing with productions that speak to universal values.
Advocates for Immigrant Rights (AIR): fights for the dignity, safety, and inclusion of immigrants in the United States, especially those most marginalized, through legal representation and advocacy. Direct services provided are detention defense, removal defense, appeals and affirmative applications.
Peer Power recruits and trains high-performing college students, called Success Coaches, to tutor in public school classrooms and mentor high school students. They encourage active learning, valuing education, and being personally accountable for their futures. Their mission is to inspire and empower youth to take control of their academic success.
