Political figures, professionals, teachers, Buddhist monks, and people from various ethnic minority groups were executed. But so too is the creative spirit. Led by Pol Pot, the Khmer Rouge made everything much worse.

We have also been stirred by the long-overdue reckoning over race in the United States and sought in response to address racial equity more squarely in our work.
